BETTA SPAWNING
The male Betta will make a nest by blowing a bubble, this mean Betta male ready to spawn.If your male betta still not making a bubble nest you can stimulate him by put the female Betta near to male Betta separate by a glass or in a bottle. Another way is to place plant or a piece of styrofoam in male betta tank as a shelter.
When male and female betta ready to spawn, the male betta begin to circling each other, and then the male betta will wrap himself around female betta,the female begin expel her eggs. After that female betta seems to be lethargic and exhausted because of this hardwork. It will repeated several times. Male betta will scoop up the eggs in his mouth and put them into the bubble nest. The male will take care of them from now.
You should remove female betta, because female betta will eat the eggs, and male betta become quite aggressive against her, for protecting the eggs. After 3 or 4 days your fry will start to swim. Just try it yourself. You will have a wonderful experience |
